I've painted my engine cover (GT) about 3 years ago, due to extreme heat of engine, the paint start to chip off and looks bad. I am thinking to have body shop to paint it (other parts as well) due to the better quality. But I am wondering is it able to stand for high heat?

some auto paint are meant to withstand heat. like engine enamels that are used for small block chevys. i used anodized paint for mine and it never chipped.

^FALSE
The material being powder coated has to be able to carry electrical charge
