I'm only posting this mainly because I'm bored...there are countless headlight threads but whatever.

Car is red with an overall black/red theme. Black s2k antenna, black rear hatch handle lip Celica insert, hyperblack (soon to be matte black/red lip) wheels.

Headlight painted flat/satin black. No ribs because I messed up the top side and had to paint over it. =/ The darker black as opposed to the graphite doesn't show the ribs as much anyway so oh well. It hasn't been reassembled yet even though the cold epoxy has a tight grip on it.

Here's one of the three emblems I'll be painting. This is a "VVT-i" emblem in place of my chrome/stock GT emblem. The "i" originally had a red accent that I would have liked to keep, but masking off such a small area is a PITA. I will also be painting a Toyota text emblem when it arrives (from freaking China; takes forever) and the front Toyota logo emblem when I install the headlights.

The "i" in "VVT-i" looks awful. Too glossy and orange peel-ish.

^^Maybe it hasn't dried??

I like the mods, I painted my first set of headlights and it turned out great but moisture kept making its way in after it rains so over time it made the headlights gross...def recommend extra epoxy/silicone sealer to lock the mositure out.

Yes it wasn't fully dry, so no "orange peel" now but it is still glossy black because I wanted the "i" to stand out from the "VVT," the only reason being that it originally had red accents and I still wanted to let it have its original glory. XD

I was thinking about buying a sealer, but the only ones I can find around here that have been suggested are the like $20 caulking cartridges and I don't feel like spending that much unless I have to (especially because I don't know if my parents have a caulking gun). Lol. Are there any cheaper ones in just a squeeze tube or whatever that are really easy to find at an auto store?
But I did a very good job of conserving the original epoxy (the only epoxy that I lost was a tiny bit on the flathead I used to pry the headlights apart) so maybe I won't need to buy a sealer?
