Where can I get nice grooves for the shifter like this? Or how would you DIY one? That looks so clean!

I've looked on eBay, but didn't have any luck. Any idea what I would search for? I've tried every variety of shifter, shiftboot, shift, stick, stick shift etc...

Cut a piece of wood to the correct size, then cut out the shift gates, then paint and glue down or what ever? That's the cheapest way I can think to do so. In my opinion I hate that look, though.

Yeah I saw that in the unique thread - very nice. Did you fab it or buy it?
Is that hombredelastra's car? I'll shoot him a PM.

Awesome, do you have any pics of how you molded it? I've never done any type of fabrication work for a car. It looks so sexy though!

no sorry i dont, i deleted them after i had it wrapped. it wasnt hard to mold it. im planning on doing another one like it. the guages themselves are recessed in the cubby hole and not sticking out.
