View Full Version : why is it so hard to find Signal BULB!!!!!

I bought this signal bulb (xenon)
It wasn't goin in or it wasn't the right one
so I wonder..... wonder.... wonder....... for like 5min
and I found out that those 2metal balls = PROBLEM(I)
most of bulbs (metal ball thingy) was 180degree
so i travel the whole town
just to buy that little shytty signal bulb
but ended up w/ buyin another wrong bulb.... hmm
i thought i bought the right one dammit!!!!!
if i cannot find that thing within a week
ama paint my bulb to rainbow keke Good Idea huh? j/k

just sand/scrape off one of the lil metal tabs and it will fit. thats what everyone has to do.

It's not that hard to find. I found mine after going back to the same place when the 1st bulb didn't fit. I told them exactly how the prongs were set up and then gave me the correct bulbs.

yea....SAND OFF one off the tab thingie on the side of the BULB!!

WAIT! make sure you sand the right nub off...otherwise, you'll have problems getting the bulb to stay in the socket......

I got mine from Kragen. You have to sand one of the tab.

TRUST me :)

there are only 2 tabs on that round base so you can hack anyone of them off.

You dont need to shave off any of the prongs. Also, they are legal, since they blink orange, but they are clear in the housing. I'd show you guys pics, but i dont have any right now.
