Proper tire pressure

Any one know what the proper tire pressure for yokohama spec 2 I have 205/45/16 size tires .......it says max 40 so i filed it 38 all around!

I got a question too!

I have my 17s on, with Falken Ziex ZE-502 215/40ZR-17 tires. I am running 30 PSI (cold) right now. Sound about right?

I think you're supposed to increase tire pressure by 2 PSI for every inch your rim increases over the stock size. Like if your factory 16" rims were supposed to be 32 PSI and you went to 17", you'd need to inflate to 34 PSI

Not positive on that, but maybe one of the grumpy autocrossers can tell you for sure
