Legal or illegal to have a colored led not including the Low/High beams or the turn signal. It's called a "clearance" in the "Stock Bulb" thread. I currently have blue lmao and I'm having speculations.

regardless if it's your blinker, parking light, high/low beam, you cant have any blue, red, green, etc just stick with pure white, looks cleaner :)

Wow, I didn't know they let people who can't spell become officers. Do you write your tickets in 'txt' too?

I'm going to install some LEDs armber but a dark amber on my drl. I'm also thinking of have the headlight turn signal bulb allways be on with the drl. So at night when I drive my headllights will be white while the rest of the light will be amber. My turn signals will be on my side markers. Has anyone done this?

they look pure white but are actually blue.
Currently have installed on my car and it is DOT certified... As mentioned it must be constant light pattern (not flashing) NO RED

Not that I planned it, but my side markers have a definite blue tint, and I've passed tons of cops at night and I've never been pulled over or had a ticket.

Iwritetickets, you've mentioned that only white and ambers are legal, but what about yellow? Some cars have yellow fog lights stock so I assume it's legal, right?
