I installed TRD fogs just about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't very hard and I am usually a moron when it comes to things like this. I had stock fogs but I took them off and wired the new fogs to the old wires. This made life very easy because I didn't have to run wires all the way up to the dash. I just had to remove the bumper, mount the fogs (TRDs come with all the hardware you need), and splice different connectors onto the car. If I had known how to remove the bumper it would have taken less than 1 hour to do.

yup , i have the stock foglights
but how can i run wires to the dash ?
i can see i can just plug the foglights's connector to the bumper's connector (already one in there) , do i need a switch on the dash or just plug and play ?

I'd read an electrical book if I were you, or take a class. You have the stock fogs, yet you ask whether or not you need to wire them to the dash? Sorry, just not getting it, you can't be THAT ignorant, can you?

Think about it, you already have a switch in your cabin which controls you stock foglights. Turn the switch on, the lights come on, turn it off, the lights go off. Now, what do you think would control the lights if you plugged in another set of foglights into the same wires that the stock ones did? I want you to think about it. I am sure you can get the answer if you just think about it a little. If you can figure this out yourself it'll help you out a lot more then me or someone else just telling you. This is basic electronics, and something you should really know by now.

I wouldnt plug another set into the stocks....bad on the electical system.. what you should do is get a relay and wire the relay to the battery (fused of course) and use the stock foglight wire to trip (turn on) the relay. This is the safest way to do it.
