A/C panel and cig lighter wont light up... any ideas?

Yesterday I was tearing my head unit back out to connect the dimmer wire that I had forgotten to wire in originally. I snipped the white/green wire on the factory harness and connected it to the orange illumination wires on the aftermarket harness. Everything seemed fine at that point, and the dimming worked great on my head unit. Not until later did i find out that my clock, a/c control panel, and cig lighter wont light up. I did some tooling and rewiring today and have managed to get the clock to light up again. But the a/c panel and th cig lighter still wont light up at all. I checked all the fuses on the passenger side and they all seem fine. Has anyone experienced anything like this, or have any ideas on where I went wrong?
