Does anyone currently have these or can tell me the quality of them? I'm new to the suspension game but from what I can tell is that they seem like pretty good coilovers for under a grand.

Ok thanks. I was leaning towards these so if people say they love em then I'm sold.

I put these on 6 weeks ago and noticed a tremendous improvement in handling and the overall stance of the car.

Well, I have no personal experience, but I was looking into these awhile ago (before I got married and bought a house and have no money for the car)

I come originally from the land of older Celicas. Where aftermarket support is so low that it makes new Celicas look like they have endless options. Anyway, on the alltrac.net message board I read of many people who had them on their st185s and loved them. Then I came to this board and found next to no real information...just people saying they are crap - because they are made by Megan (I believe sometimes this site can be somewhat "elitist." If it's not Tein SS or better --ie more expensive-- it's not worth trying. Certainly not everyone...but it seems to be the dominant attitude.) Anyway, back on subject, I don't remember reading about anyone on here who had tried them and disliked them. I was planning to go with them...but other things have taken over my finances for the time being.

Good luck!

Ok well this pretty much sells it for me thanks guys. I have also been talking to a buddy of mine who is on a 240sx forum and while I know that we have totally different cars, they seem to love megan coilovers so it seems like the quality is all around.

i've found multiple threads in the past, where ppl stat that it's made by bc coilover.

Those coilovers were highly regarded by the RSX crowd for a while also.

I have not followed that thread in some time, but I would look into what works on that site more than others.

Yeah I have them too, and they can get dropped pretty low. I'm not sure what my drop is exactly, I think around 3? I have tendencies to scrape everywhere =(. I enjoy the handling, I tried taking a corner at around 140 and didn't feel a thing. I've actually heard some bad things about Teins, but I'm not entirely sure if that info is actually valid.

Definitely a good buy for the price do it! Also, I think if you're looking for the best price and customer service, raceinspired.com has them for a really good price which is where I got them

I looked at that site and JM auto racing has them for slightly cheaper and I found this info. On the raceinspired site the coilovers only come with pillowball upper mounts on the front. The ones on JM auto site has pillowball upper mounts on both front and rear so it seems like the JM site has the better deal there

I wish I could find a set for that price. Quick question though....why do the pillowball upper mounts come on front and rear only at some places and at others it only comes on the front?

krazieboy

typically pillow top mounts only come in the front because we can adjust the chambers in the rear using chamber links.

the way i see it is this. Economy's ****. Somebody out there is bound to need to sell something, and when they do, it's usually for a good price if they need to sell it fast.
