springs or coilovers

I have a 2002 gts...I want to know what is better for me to put on my car coilovers or springs and what are some good name brands...I have seen OBX coilovers, dropzone springs, trd springs
I just dont know the good from the bad and I want something that will last...I dont want to buy another set of coilovers in like 6 months because the ones that i bought were garbadge...What do you guys suggest????

your refering to springs and coil overs as if they are two differant things:however, they are the same thing. The spings on the celica are whats called "coil wound" compared to other types of suspensions, which use leaf springs and so on.

stock shocks will go away pretty soon
I regret for spendin 375 on my GC coilovers
try to save up to 1000 and get those full shocks
well.... thats why Im sellin my coilovers to get those
if you cannot afford 1000
just get ground control ..... or Skunk2
those works good out of most of coilovers

that's soo true......i guess it's cuz like me, most other members put them on stock shock & struts.......if u got perfomance shocks, i think it will be different ball game

I've had coil overs and springs and i guess the coilovers are little more harsher, but the performance was a lot better.
Plus its cooler when you can drop it really low.

WTF No-Tz, you don't have to make up a fake mod list to try and impress us or make us like you. AEM dosn't make a Camshaft for the Celica, Blitz does not make a CAI, only a short ram, HKS does not have a forced induction kit out for the Celica, you can not possably have HKS ingition wires on your car because Celica's don't have ignition wires due to the fact that it is direct ignition, and you have "TRD Flywheels"? How many flywheels does your car have? :rolleyes:

I seriously suggest that you delete that fake mod list right away. :nono:

02_gts, what do you want out of your suspention? Are you lowering for looks or for performance, or for both? Do you have any idea how low you would like your car?
