[QUOTE]A seven-car shootout to find the King of Corners.
Seventh: 2011 Volkswagen GTI
Highs: Progressive, easy-to-explore limits; supportive seats.
Lows: Inability to turn off stability control holds back this car

Fourth: 2011 BMW M3
Highs: Stable, confidence-inspiring, rides extremely well, comfortable seats.
Lows: Mass compromises agility, steering is light and lacks tactility, persistent understeer.
Second: 2010 Lotus Elise SC
Highs: Ultralight weight, world’s best steering, unmatched purity.
Lows: Tramlines, unspectacular lap times, will hurl its rear-heavy posterior, loose-fit seats.
Fixed. :D

didn't expect the R3 to be up there, but I do agree with "needs more engine"

I knew the R3 would be on there. I am a bit surprised that it ranked as high as it did though.
Rotary <3.
no surprise with the RX-8 - one of the best cars ever built.

I skanned through the article to see if there was any mention of it but nothing. I guess it was either the Cayman or the Boxster and they just chose the latter.
also - GTI? Really?
GTI gets its ass handed to it on a regular basis by the Civic SI, which gets its ass handed to it on a regular basis by the Mini Cooper.
So where are those cars?

It's a car mag, VW probably paid their way into the test. :chuckles:
