exhaust flanges are different.
If you take a 1zz exhaust gasket and compare it to a 2zz you'll see they are different, just like on the intake side
They function the same way, and can have similarities in runner location.

fak. So using a 1zz manifold on a 2zz wouldn't be smart.

no. I'm not 100% sure but i think the bolt alignment is different.
That's how it is on the IM. the runners are the same but the bolts align slightly differently.
