The Dodge V10 was always criticized as sounding like a milk truck. I can understand why. Pretty nice none the less.

It's still a faux-Phantom.
Fvcking hate 300Cs, regardless of whatever swap they may get.

Yeah that's the only variant that deserves anything SRT related.

Update!

The Real Story Behind the Viper-Powered Chrysler 300 SRT10 (http://blog.caranddriver.com/the-real-story-behind-the-viper-powered-chrysler-300-srt10/)
RedLetterDodge.com has identified the owner as Derek Ekins. The donor vehicle is a 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring fitted with a 525-hp, 8.3-liter V-10 from a 2003–2006 Viper. Also present are a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and Eibach coil-over suspension. According to RLD, Derek completed the engine swap in his two-car garage.

When we spoke to Chrysler, we were told that the car in the video is not an official Mopar vehicle and won’t be appearing at Chrysler’s SEMA stand this year, contrary to what other outlets had speculated. A PR official confirmed that the car belongs to a private Viper enthusiast who attended this year’s VOI.

That explains the car, but what about the mysterious video? The folks from RedLetterDodge.com planned to write up a post about the V-10–powered 300 to accompany it, but the video made it to the internet before the words did. More proof: A photo on the site taken at a VOI gathering shows the snake in sheep’s clothing parked in the middle of a row of real Vipers.

Bottom line: The car exists and has enormous amounts of three-pedal cool, and we commend whoever put it together. To that point, the folks at Chrysler promise more information on the car and its owner tomorrow. We’ll be sure to update you when we get it.
