so heres the story. smitty03241990 brought my greddy lip. he didn't have the money at the time so i let him take it and pay me later. i trusted him cuz he brought my greddy ti-c exhuast before and we hung out at meets i organized. but after 1.5 years or more later he still haven't paid me back. i can understand that you got laid off or whatever but if you had enough money to buy Mido's items worth 900 bucks then you should have money to pay me back. Smitty is a cool guy and probably has good feedback but he stills owes me money from such a long time ago. i'll probably won't get my money back but thats not even the point, the point is that if you owe someone money then you would pay them back and not make some excuse that you got laid off and then i see you post about Mido stealing ur money.

I find this post...rather odd. 1.5 years later you finally decide to make a complaint? Shouldn't you have done that within the first month, or perhaps even the second month. Your mistake was putting the trust into someone by sending something before they made the full payment...even though he seems cool and he purchased other items from you, why would you even do that? Lesson learned.

Your money is probably as good as gone. The only thing you can do is learn from this mistake, note that money as a loss and move on.

lol yea but this was done as local. but i have asked him to pay me back later since he said he got laid off. i been laid off before so i know its hard to come up with money and so wanted to give him some time to gather some money so he can pay his needs first. i just wanted to post this because i think its messed up. i can care less about the money because that isn't the issue here. the issue is that he said he got laid off and is going through money problems and then he goes on the forums and buys more stuff for his car.

basically this thread is created so i can get this off my chest because he comes to my meets and he knows he owes me money but yet doesn't say anything. he kept saying "i'll paypal you" and such but it never happens. like i said before this isn't the money issue, the issue is that he said he is having money problems and then does something different and buy $900 worth of stuff from Mido.

rugged man, lol i just bought and installed my clutch from him a few months ago, seems pretty stand up. funny thing is, mido sold him my old trd bumper, so we shared some pics. pretty neat.

pretty sucky deal not giving the lip back and selling it. wow. hopefully he'll shed some light. he's a pretty regular on the site.

lol that was funny. i believe i sold him the lip for $170. i would do that but i only check the forums for like 5 mins and then go somewhere. i work two jobs so i barely have time to chase someone around.

Good job to smitty03241990, I'm sure nobody will look at you differently now that they've seen you come through with this ... you could have easily just blew this one off and walked away with an extra amount of cash in your pocket but instead, holding your part of the bargin you came through..granted it took a minuet or two, but the main point to know is that you came through in the end.
