yes, but it isn't a daily driven car and for MWR it's no big deal to replace a tranny if it's broken.

did ya see the big note at the bottom??? They installed an auto trans. That car IMO should have been dialed in more at the track. Seems like they just gave up on it, 10.9 @ 140...A 600+ sub 2600 lb car should trap a lot higher than 140 and run a lot faster than 10.9. Car seems unfinished

Last time i was at MWR they were swapping E153 trans to all their cars.
And its not a 1/4 mile car, they are doing the standing mile runs now.

man...didn't know the first quarter of a "standing mile" race didn't matter. Would think you'd want to optimize your acceleration at all points to the best ability possible

:chuckles:

it is true, but they went through transmissions like maxi pads. Then they blew an oil pump, rebuilt it de-stroked to 1.5 liters.

sure. A c60 will probably not blow on highway pulls, but if you want to race it, kiss it good bye

In that case you do NOT want the C60. Its a time bomb with a short fuse in a drag car with that kind of power.
