So it happened today on lunch break. First a little electrical backgrond on my car.
-single 200w amp wired with eight ga. And a 60 amp fuse.
-full fog light control
-35w HIDs, lowbeam and fogs, fogs relayed on 30amp relays wire with 12 ga. wire
-blinker mod
-viper 2 way alarm
-Optima yellow top

So I drove to work, rolled up windows and locked it, everything was completely normal. 4.5 hrs later I walk out and unlock it with the fob, get in start it up, shift to reverse and imediately noticeds my back up beeper wasn't working. Then I started noticing much more.
Radio, gauges, hvac, clock, windows, fog lights, power mirrors, amp. All have stopped working completely. However the headlighs and dome light worked fine. All functions did return to normal after my hunt for a failed multi-fuse turned up nothing and I cycled the key few times. The engine started and ran perfect though. My thought is the ignition switch, what are yours? Also it has only done it that short while earlier today.

Twitchy body ECU?

I don't think it's the body ecu because power locks, hazards and dome light still worked, that's why I thought maybe the ACC circuit wasn't complete, that why I suspected the ignition switch.

If you cant look at it how can you even rule anything out? A little explination would be of some help.

a short in a body ecu shouldn't cause all that to be inoperative at once. possible a loose junction connection maybe, but doubtful

the ignition switch isnt directly related to ALL of you complaints either. cant physically cause all of those symptoms.

Check the ring terminal connections just after the + battery connector for corrosion/looseness.
