I've got some money to blow and I want to improve the handling of my car.
What would you guys recommend doing?
I was thinking strut bars and sway bars. No coils or spring at the moment.
What brand will be good for strut bars and sway bars.
Please help. Thanks guys !
Strut bar don't really do much. Sway bars do.
Upgrade the sways!

Any good ones you can purchase of ebay?
or are they all a waste of time?

Don't buy ebay parts.
KamiSpeed is selling some C-One rear sway bars.
I bought a TRD rear strut bar and noticed a bit of difference but not too much.
And why not coils right now?

Hotchkis, if you can.

That package any good?
Yes.
What are you aiming for? Will you be participating in any road-racing/auto crossing events?
Or do you want something better than stock?
Hotchkis, if you can.
this all the way around, helps out a lot, very good suspension for autocross
tires will make the biggest difference out of anything.

hotchkis sways and the rear strut bar make the biggest differences that you can actually feel. Other then those that are noticable are maybe the c-one performance bars

:moved:
Sway bars make a great improvement on Celicas, especially if you get the stiffer rear bar that Hotchkis sells.

you're from Australia, check out Whiteline. They have tons of good stuff for the celica and are local.

I know I'm resurrecting an extremely old thread, but I have a few questions about handling that OP was asking.
Front Upper Strut Bar by Megan Racing, is it worth the $44?
what improves handling better, front upper strut or rear upper strut?
I'm of course going to install these correctly, I'm not going to simply throw them on there, I'm going to do it right.
