yep i've done it and it's not that hard
the only problem you will face will be disconnecting the B6 connector from the Body ECU (this took me 10 minutes to disconnect)
The car looks alot better w/out DRL and it also gives a sense of uniqueness to the celica
i recommend disabling the drl

If you disable by the one wire cut, is your ebrake light on all the time?
I know it also disables the auto-on headlights, but can you turn the headlights off once you turn them on? I really hate how you can't turn your headlights/drls off without turning the car off. That's rediculous.
I don't mind the drls, and I like the auto-on headlights..I just want to be able to turn all my lights off whenever I want.

no the ebrake light will not be on all the time
you get full control of your headlights. You can turn the lights on manually whenever you please.

And yes, that means you can turn the lights off at any time as well. It's just like the good ole days when the car companies didn't have to control things like your wipers and headlights....you're in control.

Dude, you should've visited a different forum with questions like that: NEWBIES. Plus look carefully through the INSTALLS section.

The dealers have special tools that they can take the harness apart and simply remove the contact pin. I tried (as many others have) to get that harness apart and pull the pin out to no avail.
Cutting the wire is easiest. And for those people who DREAD cutting a wire......if ya mess up or want to undo it, just splice in a piece of wire. Current flows thru spliced wires too....it's all good.
