Shift Lever

Hello,

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place, but I didn't think it really belonged anywhere else.

I am looking for the metal shift lever from a Celica GT-S. I have heard that this will replace the shift lever in my 98 Corolla, and be about 2 1/2 inches shorter. I am only interested in the metal rod, none of the white plastic stuff.

Lemme know if anyone is willing to part with their lever.

i'd try putting a "WTB" (wanted to buy) post in the for sale forum. someone in there is bound to be getting rid of one. don't know if it will fit or not though. have you found any corolla sites and just looked for a short shifter for your car on there? that might be a safer idea (you'd know it would fit that way). or if celica ones definately fit, you might could buy a celica shortshifter and make it work in your car.
