Okay so today I installed my dual halo black housing headlights..
I wanted a shortcut canceling the DRL's so i just unplugged them.. :wiggle:..
but I was stuck because I did not know where to connect the Halos to. I read that some people connected it to the side lights, but i though why not just connect them to the DRL's wires.
Then i though maybe it would draw too much power and burn out the halo's.. so I took all 4 halos (both Duals) and ran them down the same wire (power wire)..
each halo's ground was grounded to the body.. then i connected that "power wire" to the positive (green) wire of one of the DRL's..
it works great and its bright.. anyone know if I'm going to run into problems later?
Is it too much power?
is it going to burn out anything?
:shrugs:
