I painted my engine plastics a few months ago with some high-temp spray paint and clear coat stuff. I was thinking about removing it but im not sure what to use. MEK seems too harsh. I was thinking probably paint thinner or mineral spirits. Anyone done this and know what to use that won't melt the plastic?
Thanks in advance guys!

I have painted my engine plastics 3 times. Everytime I remove the paint I use this Airplane paint thinner from AutoZone. It is some strong sh!t but it doesnt harm the plastic at all. You just spray it on and it lifts the paint off right away. You let it soak for like 3 minutes and you wipe it off with a towel. I forgot what the product is called though. Its blue and has an airplane on the cover.

Yup, I may have to do that as well.. I painted my pieces about 2 mos ago and there are tiney bubbels starting to form here and there...
I think I might just take it to a real-deal shop and have them paint it up all pretty style.....
