I was researching some possible replacements for our coilpacks and stumbled upon this..

1nzfe coilpacks
http://s-86.com/s-coilpacks.html

Its the #4 coil in the first picture and the #3 is what we have in our 1zz (GT guys) I believe, not sure if its the same in the 2zz.. Physically it looks pretty close. Im still researching info regarding the electrical aspect of these but was wondering if anybody might have came across these before?

I believe they can be found on the scion xA/xB 1.5 motors

Just lookin for useful info...

^It isn't though, the 2ZZ coils have the bolt hole at a right angle to the connector, not in line with it.

The 1NZ coils will have fitment issues on a 1ZZ valvecover because of the bolt hole position and flat angle connector. Here's how they fit on a NZ engine:

I shouldve added this to the first post Im aware of the bolt holes not matching up but I figured some kind of adapter plate can be fabbed up to remedy that. And the flat angle connectors would allow maybe a more flush looking spark plug cover (my side project that this is leading up to). Im still lookin for more info on the electrical side of it something about firing signal or pulse from the ecu.

I suppose a Yaris/Echo factory repair manual might contain info regarding that. I don't know if there are any Yaris forums that might have something like that readily available.
