Has anyone else encountered this:
If You press the sunroof button to autoclose the sunroof and then start closing the windows the sunroof will get to a point then start opening back up again.
This is pretty annoying.. soes anyone know why it does this ?

It gets to about 3/4 closed and then it starts going back the other way... wierd.. I wonder if there are any TSB's on this issue.

You know how you have power for the windows/sunroof for like 1 minute after you pull the key out, or untill you open the door...
well, if the keys out and the sun roof is closing...its fine, but if you open the door with the key out will the sun roof is closing, it decides to go all the way back..wtf

it has to do w/ a voltage drop. It's normal in every celica. There's probably a reason for it. It's not ab ig deal...just learn not to open your door and close 2 things at once. LoL

The sunroof has a saftey feature that prevents you from closing i t on your arm, hand , head or whatever else you might stick out of it. Most likely it is due to a drop in available power since you are running the windows and roof at once. The slowing of the moonroof simulates the same effect of a blocked opening, sending it back.

i see... so i need leave the car running to keep the volts up while closing the windows, the sunroof, and blow-drying my hair all at once. :gap:

Patient: Doctor, it hurts when I do this...
Doctor: Dont't do that.
Toyota: That is an undocumented feature.

Happens to mine sometimes, like if you are closing the sunroof and you pull up on the windows twice mine goes back open. Well sometimes that is.
