If anyone is interested, I'm also getting a pre-meet together at my friend's shop. He's a hardcore Toyota guy, building up a 1st gen Celica with a 2JZ and a ton of other massive customizations (almost all performance-related). Here's the location:

His shop is in the 2nd gate on the right, after the 3 speed bumps. Go around to the back of the building, and he's in bay 27 and 28. You can park anywhere on the side of the lot with the trees. I should be there no later than 10am. We'll probably head towards the karts around 12:15-12:30.

I'm guessing an hour or two. Karting will be quick, but we all still need to meet up before we start. I'll have an open seat, as I'm sure a few ppl here will, so you can ride along after Orlando if you want.

I'll be getting on 75S at exit 341, so maybe the next exit south, 329. It's right before the Turnpike, and there's a big Travel Center and BP gas station to the right as you exit the offramp. Impossible to miss.

If anyone's free before the meet starts, my friend/mechanic says you're welcome to stop by. He's in Ocoee/Winter Garden, so maybe 20 or so minutes away from the go kart track. There's a direct road from his shop to the track.

He's a hardcore Toyota guy. He's building up a 1st gen coupe with a 2JZ swap. Almost a completely modified chassis. Car's almost done except reinstalling the floor, interior, wiring, and hitting it with paint. Right now, he's trying to shoehorn a radiator and intercooler into the front grille. ;)

It's about a minute from the intersection of the Turnpike and 429. It's in one of those storage space places, but instead of storing things, there are a bunch of car related businesses working out of them. Some repair places, some body work/paint, some fabricators, and even a woodworker.

I believe the address is 826 Mary's Park Place, Ocoee, FL. Either way, that's just an entry road with a mail box. Go to the end of that road (very short), and enter the second gate on the right (after the 3 speed bumps). The first gate before the speed bumps may be open as well, but it's usually not. Go behind the building about halfway down. Just find a spot to park on the side with the trees. His bays are 27 and 28 IIRC. You'll see the Celica inside instantly. ;) Probably a slammed Miata, too. I should be there around 10 or so. The guy's name is Jerry.

Yup, TRD01GT and I are heading down to the shop, planning on arriving at about 10am, if not a bit earlier. We'll head to the karts around 12:15-12:30, since it's only about a half hour away, mainly on the Turnpike. Meet starts at 1. :)

We went to Chili's and then to Gainesville to pick up a CF hood, then we split.

It was sooo much fun. I'm fixing to put my CF hood on now before work, then gonna take it to 2ktrd's tomorrow and get the short shifter in, and oil change. BTW, my exhaust quit making rattling noises when I got back into Jax. Maybe it just doesn't like Central Florida :P JK. I HAD AN AWESOME TIME AND WE HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!

no it was only fuel up until yesterday morning....I guess the freeze overnight and a worn bearing lead to me burning oil the next morning on the way to work.

Just clouds of smoke behind the car. not like before where it was only fuel.
