All right, I have had the car for a while, and I am having problems landing the 1-2 shift. I am inconsistent in that I can land it some times but not others. And when I can't land it, the shifter doesn't go into 2nd. Are my RPM's too high? Should I let off the gas all the way then shift to 2nd, or just take my foot off a little? I have been trying all sorts of ideas, but I need help. Any insight would help. Thanks.

Guys, due to the gearing ratios..unless you either slip the clutch or something of the sort you cant hit lift in the 1-2 shift.

i think ur missing 2nd is cuz ur getting off the clutch too soon....i used to do that when i was learning to drive on this car.......this is what i did......in everyday driving(3-5rpmz), try and shift as fast and crisp as possible.....i'm not saying powershift....just try and slip the clutch a bit....do not slip the clutch while ur foot is on the gas.....just slip the clutch while ur foot is off the gas while shifting...when u get used to this, u can use the same way of shifting in high rpmz......this may or may not work for u but it did for me so i'm passing it along

p.s- get a twm ss and spray some white lithium grease on ur shifter links under ur hood and it will make a world of a difference....ur shifts will be sooooo smooth, it's not funny
