What does No. on driver side door mean

I did a search and nothing like this came up. On the drivers side door there is the sticker that says produced by Toyota...blah blah blah. Then there is a Number....mine says No. 796; does this mean that my car was the 796th. built. What the hell is this

Also, shouldn't the prod. date be somewhere on the car. I can't find it on this sticker or anywhere else.

Yes thats the prouduction number, ex. yours says 796, built that year.

That sticker also contains the paint code.

I think that was discussed once before and the conclusion was it was the number for the month?
