I've done this. Very easy MOD. with good results. Runs about $100 bucks depending on wire quality and how you connect it to the harness...
I'll post pics tom.
this is what you'll need:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=36560&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10548&classNum=10551
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=35603&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10548&classNum=10551
i used this holder:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=442499&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10548&classNum=10551
with the lid off of this since it was lying around:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=102091&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10548&classNum=10551
or this to cover the leads and prevent an arch.
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=17345&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10548&classNum=10597
i crimped the wiring harness to the relocate wire with this:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=35607&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10611&classNum=10613
then filled the center with some solder to strengthen the connection.
At the other end i soldered these:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=35581&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10611&classNum=10613
to the end of the wire so i could connect it to the terminal.
this wire:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=35074&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10605&classNum=10606
is recommended since the strands are thin and allows for a more flexible wire that you can tuck and hide inside the interior panels. I'd say 20 ft is enough. Use 2 gauge or 2/0 maybe even 0.
I cut a two foot section off the end for the ground and bolted the eye to the unibody.
you can either use the factory hole for the wiring harness or drill a new one to fit the wire and put a grommet in the hole to prevent it from cutting the wire.
Wrap the connection in electrical tape or use shrink wrap:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=35291&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=10109&subdeptNum=10611&classNum=10612
to cover the connection. then put inside wire loom and zip tie closed for extra protection and a cleaner look.
enjoy :)

I like it but that holder looks a little... To lean any problems you run into how'd you tuck the wires in the back?

Oops my bad I'll just shut up and wait for the pics I was looking at the wrong thing about the lean statement.
Is this a pretty popular mod?

That holder is pro. Made for boats and does an excellent job in the trunk. Very strong plastic as well.
Wires were run through the space between the unibody and exterior metal, and tucked down behind plastics when there was no other place.

is there suppose to be a bottom piece to the battery container?

depends on the tray your using.
If you look close you'll see after the top is removed there is still a open box tray holding my battery down.
I posted a link for both boxes.
