Im thinking of getting a kit for my gt-s. I dont have the cash to buy a trd or veilside kit. I'm looking to spend 500-700 tops for one.

What brands are a good deal, and which ones are poor quality?

Also, do I need to lower it after I get the kit put on, and how much do installs run?

I think in the price range you're looking for, Wings West offers the best kit as far as fit and durability.

I also really like the Rod Millen one.

There are some Veilside replica kits around that price. Someone is planning to start a groupbuy on the Veilside replica kit made by AFS Motorsports so check the groupbuy section. X-EVIL-X is selling Veilside replica kits around that price so check the For Sale section. From what I read, the replica kits are made from strong fiberglass. With a couple of hundred dollars more, you can get the Kaminari kit. That's what I'm doing. I'm saving all my money for the Kaminari kit.
