TRD Style Wing **HELP**

i just got a TRD style wing from this one place near my house, and i noticed that there are 4 holes on the bottom where the bolts are supposed to attach to the car. is that how it's supposed to be?

it doesn't look like the stock wing has 4 bolts to hold it in...more like 2.

can someone who has replaced their spoiler with a TRD style wing help me out? will it fit? are the holes just there for the hell of it?

2 of the holes fit the stock holes. The other 2 holes you need to have drilled.

are those other two holes absolutely necessary for the wing to be installed? also, was it hard to drill? costs?

Mark the holes yourself but make sure there is no reinforcment metal under the spot where you drill... It is pretty easy, just take your time and line everything up. Get help if you need it from your dad, friends, etc. Two people are better than one.

The bodyshop charged me $120 for paint and install. They did all the drilling work. I haven't paid the guy yet since they didn't do too great of a job painting it so they told me to come back and have them fix it. I haven't called them in 2-3 weeks now hahaha. I gotta call them up and tell them that I'll be coming back in a week. But if you can't drill your own holes, have a bodyshop do it for you.

so the drilling is absolutely necessary? i was thinking of just using the two holes that fit, and reinforcing the rest of it with industrial strength double sided tape. i wanna keep body piercings on my car to a minimum

I think the 2 extra holes will hold down your spoiler good though. I have 6 holes since my spoiler didn't fit my stock spoiler holes so they had to drill 4 holes on my trunk!! Oh wells, I don't think I'll take off this spoiler anyways.

u dont have to do the extra holes, just check how is the fit with just 2 holes....

if your car came with a wing stock the holes are for the nipples that stick up on the rear deck. you should have a total of 4 holes on the bottom side of one of the legs. two bolt holes and two for the nipples.
