ya, my neibor, a R6 Yamaha 6,500 $$ , 2000 Year, 2,240 miles... New basicaly, stays in garage at all times and is driven like once a month, just to keep it running...

Go on cycletrader.com. It's your best bet for finding a used bike. Since this is going to be your first bike I'd say go for something like the Yamaha FZF-600R or a Honda CBR 600FI. They are quick bikes that are very forgiving and handle beautifully. Just make sure the motor is in good condition and runs smooth. You don't need a bike that looks amazing, I say that only because if this is your first one you have a pretty good chance of laying it down and scracthing it up. I'm saying if you want a bike that you know hasn't been a problem... so its no worries. That guys is it.. I was here when they moved in so I know what they do with it ... looked at it all the time and they ever come over and hang out with the drive way crew in the neiborhood sometimes...

It's either Blue/white, black/red, or the special edition one. However I don't recall the last one's color.

my suggestion jotan is go check on cycletrader.com, they also have some rebuilt bikes that you can get for around 2800, like 2000 gsxr's and what not. i pick up my 02 gsxr 600 next week :) yellow and black :P

thats what i thought my parents would say, till my dad said he was gonna be gettin one too, and he had a bike at my age also, so no excuses :)
