That depends on the car and how much more stiff you want your cornering to get.

I have a 2004 Toyota Celica GT-S that I've switched the stock suspension for ones from TRD, although I did have to retro-fit the Matrix rear shocks to fit my Celica. For Anti-Sway bars, I couldn't get the TRD ones for my car, so I looked into this myself.

The two big names I found were "Eibach" and "Hotchkis." Hotchkis has hollow ones that are 127% stiffer than stock, more than double, but they said it was for competition use only. I got the Eibach ones. They're solid, but tougher than stock for a roughly 50% increase in stiffness.

Hotchkis has 2 different versions out. They have a street and competition set. The front sway bars are basically identical between the two sets. The big difference is the rear sway bar. In the competition set the rear is much stiffer than the street. This stiffens the rear significantly and gives the car a bit more oversteer quality.

I believe Whiteline also makes a set for the 7th gen. They are a very reputable manufacturer but sadly, not many people on here have them.

Is there any point putting the front swaybars on a Celi? :shrugs:

Whiteline's website says 'FWD cars - fit a rear sway-bar' but then they sell both front and rear bars for the GT-S

As my engine's out at the moment, it would seem like the ideal time to get a front bar in, if they're worth having...

I like my Eibach rear bar with otherwise stock suspension. Noticeable difference in handling without increasing ride harshness.

I put on both the front and rear (Competition) and it seemed to handle nice (didn't have enough time to fully test because I had to go back to school). I would just put the front on too because it's not that hard.

Well I needed up getting the Hitachi street set already installed them the front was a pain in the ass the rear was easy but I have not been able to take the car out for a test cus I'm also installing d2 coilovers and rear camber kit but I cross threaded a bolt so now I'm waiting for the new one to come in

I have the Hotchkis Street Series and LOVE them, for DD and Ocassional road coarse they are perfect. The Comp rear sway alone will make a large enough difference but it puts more stress on it to hold the car and some people have snapped their Hotchkis Rear by doing this.

GTS-Jason, have you sold your hotchkis rear sway bar? If not, how much would you want for it?

Rubito, how do you like it?

I run the Hotchkis comps, I have about 80k mile son them, they are great no complaints.

Also, if anyone hasn't told you already, the front bar is a BITCH to install.

I love them you can defiantly tell the difference well worth the money in my opinion

If you like cornering than hotchiks comps are the way to go. I just recently installed comp front and rears and it's a dramatic difference, doesn't really add harshness to the ride but it holds the car more level when you turn.
