Ok so i am going to order a set of KYB GR-2's to go with my Hotchkis springs. My question is, are new strut mounts required? or will it be fine with the OEM strut mounts?

:eek::blah:It's the back of the celi that may need a different mounts to allow the shock to work correctly, and if you change the rear also the front should follow.

The stock will work but, the bump stop and the mount meterial that a full sock and spring kits comes with is made of much tougher stuff, thus allowing the socks and springs to work as designed to.
Yes its best to buy the struts man but it will work like the others have said its not gonna be running at full potential get struts!

^^^^:confused::confused::confused::confused:
yes ur stock strut mounts will work but depending on how old and how many mise is on them i would probably replace them. if they've got a lot of miles on them they may cause a popping noise over bumps or turning due to the higher spring rates.
