Countless searches brings me to this but why do you cut the spring perches. I do know that the cap comes off the front OEM strut but after that im lost. Any serious herious help please will do because I do not really know suspension and directions are in clear arabic for all that I know.:marky:
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't cut them in case I decided to use a "normal" spring later.

for the skunk2s or ground controls, you dont have to cut the perches but that will limit the amount of drop you can get from them.

you cut them to provide more travel in the suspension.car will be lower now and needs more travel then before. bump stops are cheap.just cut them. no biggie. i cut mine in half for the skunk2 springs.

The rears you dont cut, just knock it off with a hammer. If you dont the rears sit like 2 inches higher than normal, so that you do take off. The fronts you only get about 1/4" of a drop so if you dont want to cut that off dont sweat it.
