Saw a blown RSX type s motor today

I went to the Acura dealership to get a new clutch put in the Integra today. The mechanic asked me and my friend if we wanted to see a blown RSX motor. We walked over and all I have to say is DAMN! The #2 cylinder walls were totally screwed and one of the valves broke and turned sideways into the head. All of the #1 and #2 cyl. valves were bent and the #2 piston had a big ass hole in it. The rest of the pistons had smacked the head so hard they were all scared up. He said some kid was redlining 3rd and dropped it in 2nd. He said some managers at other dealerships took two of them out for lunch and both of them blew their motors too. Damn shame huh?

Rk youre not very educated on the whole demo thing huh?
The managers can demo any car they want pretty much. If the car has been demoed it costs less, it is not a secret undercover operation.

hence the reason alot of people order there cars and are there the day it comes off the truck..

Thats why I told my dealer before they order my car that, if my car have more than 10km when I pick it up, then they can just order me a new one ;)

And they weren't happy about that, but hey, it turned out that my car only got 0.7 km when I pick it up :D :D

altho they can reset that, but i trust them.

Yes demo cars do cost less. But taking that car out for potential drivers who might purchase the car is one thing. Them taking it out for lunch and blowing the motors is another. Those two blown motors must have been caused by high revving driving or misshifting during the break in period when its supposed to be babied. Wouldn

Did they took apart the engine??

How bad was the blown engine because the last time I saw a RSX-S blew his engine, black and white smoke came out under the hood and like black smoke and some black stuff started coming out from his exhaust and when I passed by, I've seen his hood had a big ass dent like something blew inside the engine that's where I realized that the guy who was driving the RSX-S blew his engine.
