front window has a little crack

a rock hit my front window....at first i wasnt a big deal..but after a few days it got worst and worst..my question is how much is going to cost me to replace it.....thanxx

List price for a toyota replacement front wind sheild is over a $1000, but don't worry, no one charges the list price for the windshield. If you go through your insurance company, the glass places probably charge your insurance company the list price, and you just pay the deductable. Because they can charge the insurance company full list price without them complaining, a lot of glass replacement places will pay your deductable for you, so you will actually pay nothing.

Typical price for the windsheild installed is around $400 if you don't go through insurance.

You can get aftermarket glass for around $250 installed. It isn't necessaraly worse than the factory glass, but you never know. I would stay away from the generic aftermarket personally, and get the glass that says Toyota on it.

If you go through your insurance, it is covered under comprehensive and will not affect your rates, so if you have full coverage, you should definately use it.

OVER $1000??? are you insane?? I had safelite come out to my house and replace my windshield for I think 415 installed
