ok so I just installed some EBC Slotted and Dimpled rotors in the rear to match my fronts. I noticed though that my Passengers Side Rear rotor was rusting and decided to check the Caliper. To my surprised it was ceased, so i replaced the caliper and noticed that there is no fluid coming out of the line. Has anyone experieced this? Do I need to replace my full brake line all the way to the Break Master Cylinder or is there anything i can do? The caliper and caliper line work well cause I hooked them up to the rear drivers side and the piston closed and fluid came out of the line. Any advise? I already searched and couldnt find an answere. Please help me out...thanks guys and gals :wiggle:. :sadpace:

Rotors can rust, it's normal when they aren't used.
How do you know the piston was seized?
Did you remove the reservoir cap before cracking the valve open? If the cap isn't removed, it will keep a vacuum on the system and it won't run out, it may drip at the most.
Bleed the lines in order: RR, LR, RF, LF. Remove the cap when doing this, keep a check on the fluid level.

BMAN i did this and the only one that didnt bleed out was the RR. Yes the cap was removed durring the process.
The reason i know the piston was ceased is because the caliper piston wont clamp on the RR.

If there isn't any fluid behind the piston, this could make it seem like it's seized, since it's bottomed-out. There might just be a lot of air in the line.
Try gravity bleeding the RR.

On the firewall. It would be a pain to get to.
Do you get any fluid out of the line leading to the caliper?
See BR-47 of Vol2 of the BGB.

pinched line, or abs box problem would be my first guess from what you told us. yea i think reverse bleeding can help figure out the problem

ok well, there isnt any pinched lines, i checked them all, ill be doing my reverse feed today or tomorrow when i install my coilovers :gap: if not im just gonna get a refurbished Master cylinder and install it.

i doubt its the master cyl, if it were then all the calipers would be lacking fluid.

hmmm, well then i need to replace that line. i just borrowed a brake line bleeder that sucks all the air out of the line....hope that works...:sadpace:

i know you said you are not getting any fluid out of the line into the brake caliper but did you physically remove the line from the caliper or just crack open the bleeder screw? if you only cracked open the bleeder screw your bleeder screw might be full of crud. causing you to think your not getting any fluid at all.
if you did leave it on then remove the screw completely and see if your getting any fluid to the caliper.

let us know. might not hurt to inspect your lines all the way to the master cylinder. now that your low. you might have scrapped and pinched one in some weird way.

Still no luck so im going to use pressurized air and blow through the line. Im going to remove it and check the BMS while im at it.
