Hey I was wondering how wide the wheel has to be in order for the TRD BBK to fit?? I know they recomend an 18inch wheel but what are the smallest possible size for the caliper to clear the wheel?
Thanks
Also what would happen if I mounted the front calipers in the rear and have a BBK in the front??? I theory it should work but maybe not well. Opinions???

Says you need at least 5mm clearance.

Seems like you have a GT since you ask about installing your front brakes in the rear. Don't do it. If you really wish to put rear brakes check the for sale forums on this site for a GTS rear brake conversion.

depends on the wheel you have. some are bbk friendly. some are not. keep that in mind.

can someone give me a diameter from the inside of a wheel that is the minimum for the BBK??? Spending that much $$$ and finding out it doesnt fit doesnt sound appealing.

Its not a matter of how wide the wheel is, its the offset and the space between the hub and the back of the spokes varies from wheel to wheel.
I know for a fact that 17's clear them and a 7.5 w/ a 30 offset and a 17x8 35 offset clears the TRD BBK.
If your wheels dont fit, you can always use a spacer.
Subie owners use them all the time to clear sti brembos
