View Full Version : Best Muffler Option for Turbo GT-S

Hi guys, Im kind of new here and would apreciate the opinions about wich kind and / or types of mufflers offer the best combination of sound, looks and gains... Currently I don't have any muffler installed, and it makes way too much noise, I would like something a little bit less noisy, but that still sounds powerful, kind of like what the STi or EVOs have. Thanks

I know the Celica does not have a boxer in it, I meant dB wise, not too loud, but still powerful... Hehehe
BTW, what model of the borla exhaust?

ok sor your looking for a good exhaust for a boosted celica?
I would just slap on two resonator's straith catalyc coverter and no muffler...pretty much my setup when i was boosted,

the turbo will quiet the exhaust quite a bit. i have a full straight 3" exhaust and just an N1 style muffler. is mean sounding and not too loud.

Yeah, thats what I have exept for the muffler. I have a full straight 3" exhaust but am in search of a muffler thats just like you describe yours. Thanks...

Anything you shove on the back of a turbo is restrictive.

I had an Apexi exhaust on my turbo Celica for awhile, not sure if it's the world sport 2 or not, but it sounded great, and wasn't loud.

The "Subaru sound" isn't from the motor, it's from the headers.
