is there any i can disable my day time running lights?? cause i saw one way to do it was to cut a wire. :( i dont want to cut my celica :( . my friends subaru and benz all they got to do is hold a switch down for there car. so is there any other way to disable the day time running lights other than cuting a wire.

You can push the wire out of the harness, but it's a bitch and a half to unplug the harness.

If you just cut the wire in the middle, though, you can reattach it at any time.

there is a way where you can mess with the relays... i saw it somewhere but.. yeah if i were you... i go with blue bomers's words.... prolly da easiest way..

There's no possibility of installing a switch to the wire to be able to disable them temporarily?

I can confirm this...hooked up a switch just yesterday and it didn't work like I was hoping :) Oh well.
