Question-Carbon fiber dash trim

i was wondering if anyone on here has purchased carbon fiber dash trim off ebay. i was thinking about it, but i would like to know the quality of it first. I asked the sellers and they always say that they are the ones that usually supply these kits to the toyota dealerships. Are they lying? How is the quality on these?

I have a friend who bought what might be the same kit off of Ebay and he said it was real carbon fiber and it did look like it was so............maybe it's a good deal. I don't to give you bad info on these things because there are so many claim to be "real carbon fiber kits" out there that it could be possible that you order a false kit. Just use your own judgment on that sorta thing and keep you fingers crossed.

most of them are real carbon fiber but its just about a 1/2 inch thick and has 3m backing so you can tell its a stick on...

Are other carbon fiber kits not stick ons? How can you tell the better quality ones?

all the cf kits on ebay are stick ons. most of the cf kits sold on ebay are simulated cf. i returned mine because of that reason. the company that sells them may make real ones, but the majority on ebay are not.
