I own a GT, went to the store, looked at the oil filters... I saw that the GT-S oil filter was less expensive than the GT filter(probably because the GT filter is used in more cars)...
So I'm thinkin that since the GT takes 3.9 quarts with the GT filter... I'm thinkin that if I buy the GT-S filter... not only will I have better flow through the oil filter(GT-S oil filter about 22mm longer), but I will also be buying for cheaper, and also won't have to put 3.9 quarts, I can put the full 4 quarts. So I did it right... and checked the dipstick this morning after all the oil has settled down, and the oil is in the perfect spot... You guys with GT's should try it.
Cliff Notes
1. For GT owners
2. GT-S filter less Expensive than GT filter
3. GT takes 3.9 quarts
4. GT-S filter is 22 mm longer than GT filter so....(see 5)
5. Don't have to use 3.9 quarts anymore, get to use the full 4 quarts
6. Better oil flow, better filtration
7. Works perfectly!
