Does anyone know if the clear corners on the link below are anygood, or if their just crap. I want to get a pair but don't want to pay 60 bucks for apc. Thanks

Even APC is crap. I had to use silicone to seal the leaks. All crap no matter what brand you buy (clear corners).

those are the ones i got and always get compliments on them and they are good quality....definately get them

Why does everyone think that clearcorners look so good? Every car has them nowadays. If you ask me they are getting like altezzas, way too played out.

i have those clear corners and i love them. i've had no problems with them whatsoever.

Clear corners don't really seem comparable to altezzas in my opinion. I mean, sure, everyone gets 'em, but they're two completely different things. Clear corners just give a more sleek, refined look than the orange markers do. I don't really like altezzas/euros/whatever, but everyone makes their own decisions... that's what's fun about fixing up your car. Just my .02

Yeah, you have a point, I just always thought that clear corners did not look very good on the silver Celicas. Just my opinion though.

yea, but at 30 bucks I might as well. If I don't like it down the road I won't really be like, 'damn taht was too much money.' And then I could sell 'em for like $40 bucks and make a profit.

:werd: That's why I told the guy doing my body work this weekend to not bother putting the stock ones on my new front bumper. I really don't care if it is illegal not to have corner lenses.

I have the clear corners from Procarparts.com. It's been over a year now and I haven't had a single problem with them, no leaks no nothing. I'm a satisfied customer.

I know everyone has clearcorners but I don't think they are in the same realm as Altezza's. On a silver car like mine, you really don't notice the clearcorners making it look sleeker.

Mine broke in half :) and they also condense with so much moisture it's not even funny anymore. I'm going to find my other original side marker and smoke em

i have those ones too and they're fine. been a year and they work fine. they don't look as good, but at the time, i was waiting 4 monthes on backorder for the apc's and couldn't wait any longer. they quality is fine they haven't leaked, but i think the apc definately looks a little better. these look good though too. if you get the apc's make sure the place has em in stock. don't know if this is still a problem, but back then no one could get them.

and yeah, to say apc is the good brand is kinda a joke. apc is garbage and i'm kinda glad nothing on my car is apc.

Hey redox..i was wondering what areas you sealed on teh clears...i am putting mine on tomorrow so i could just take care of the problem before it occurs : )

wahili... I would make sure it does leak first. Otherwise you'd just be wasting your time. If you know it leaks for sure look at the back of the lens. The part where the metalized plastic (silver part) meets the edge of the clear plastic part... that's where you seal. Make a good seal all around and don't miss any spots. The first time I sealed it I only did one spot I thought had a leak. It didn't work so I did it all around.

nah we were sending that guy our stock ones and he cleared it.. he had those waaaaay before stupid APC had them.. and even so.. APC don't make those no more.. am i correct?

My APC euro style has been holding up for last past year and half. I got it when it first came out for $35 shipped. I've never had a problem with condensing nor leaking. My clears are in great condition even till now.

APC isn't all that bad. My altezzas have no leaks or condensation problems. Is it just me that is getting good quality APC or what?

Oh, my indiglo sucked though.

I got mine from procarparts.com via ebay.
I have had mine for about a year and no problems with them.
I get compliments all the time about how good they look on the black car.

I have the frosted APC corner.... no problem at all.....
Not for long time but it's OK..
The fit is bad.... but hope I can figure out a way to make it fit better....
Other then fitment.. I'm happy with it....
Especially if you are going other color then orange.....
It's a must for those kind of use....
I have the RED LED and it looks nice and bright....

i have the apc frosted ones..u gotta sand down the part number for it to fit flush tho...but besides that they look tite especially with my amber bulbs and signaling mod;) they make my car look stockish with my hids hehe

i have the frosted apc ones ..the fit does sucks but never gave me problems at all. Also having the Kam front is awesome since they have a flushed aread where the clear corners go.

My Alt's and my corners (by APC) have all been fine. No problems at all. I am starting to believe that any manufacturer that had products easily available in stores would get flamed around here.

My favorite look is no corner lights, like European and Australian cars have. i don't like clear corners because IMO they make the front of the car look busy. The worst offender of this is the previous gen Maxima where people put clear everything on there and hyperwhite bulbs. At night it looks like a light tower at a baseball stadium coming at you.

With keeping the corner lights, I think the best look would be take clear ones and smoke them real dark with orange bulbs behind them.
