Since my wifes celica was stolen, and the ssytem taken we have 400 bucks to spend on a headunit

My wife really wants this one but is it good?

Looks nice, but I just dont care for Pioneer stuff anymore. Just had too many problems with their amps and head units throughout the past 10 years.

i like the pioneer premiers, and i like that head unit. a bunch of people on here have gotten it, its pretty nice. i've had good luck with a few pioneers, they've all been pioneer premiers. its not a bad unit so i think if you like it then get it. other stuff i'd look at is some alpines, but a lot of times you get less at the same pricepoint, or eclipse. those are probably the only three i'd really buy right now.

The only thing is the Pioneer decks are notorious for having long seek times when it comes to MP3 playback. If MP3 is important to you (it was to me), check out the decks and the message boards on www.highwaymp3.com. Hope this helps,

yeah i can tell you it takes about 3 seconds to play the mp3. but oh well.

Im not a fan for Pioneer, but I would get that deck. Its koo!:thumbup: Any more pics of it?
