View Full Version : PFC: 3" Intake 2ZZ MAF Settings

So when we tuned my 2ZZ, we had to play around with them until we had a usable range. I believe it's just under Air Flow Settings and you do the percentage larger (or smaller) the pipe is over stock?

So:
(pie)*R^2=A

and larger/smaller area*100 = % difference, right?

So 2.75" to 3", both 1/16" wall piping

1/16=0.0625
0.0625*2= 0.125
2.75-0.125=2.625
2.625/2=1.3125
3.14*1.3125^2=5.41188422 in^2

1/16=0.0625
0.0625*2= 0.125
3-0.125=2.875
2.875/2=1.4375
3.14*1.4375^2=6.49180669 in^2

6.49180669/5.41188422*100 = 119.95% change?

We were tuning on the commander alone, so I have no way of uploading any maps until I get around to getting a Datalogit. The menu for changing the MAF settings is under SETTINGS>AIR FLOW then all the percentages on the right hand side going down.

is anybody have maf settings for sti sensor in the 3 inch tube?
