You will be able to program the ECU to optimise performance for your car and setup, this will be a bit like getting it chipped only better as you will be able to change it as you add more to the car.

God alone knows what gains you would get, but if you look at the numbers quoted by chip only manufacturers then that should give you a good idea, you should be able to improve on them a little.

Without the commander, sod all, in fact your car will probably run crap as it will be setup for high octane fuel and a japanese car, the car will run but it will be naff, do not buy this without the commander.
