1st-2nd whats up??

whats up with everyone saying there missing there 2nd after reving up from first then trying to shift to 2nd gear??

that has now also happens to me... thats crazy. i use to be able to do it with ease and chearp easly, but now i got to shift a little bit slower just to shift to 2nd when i rev the 1st gear high and i can't chearp to 2nd anymore. :( whats the big deal?

You said it yourself, you are probably shifting too fast. The synchros need time to realign from 1st to 2nd, so you are just trying to force it into 2nd gear too fast. Just wait a pinch longer before throwing her into 2nd and you should have a smooth shift.

I use to miss 1 to 2nd shift when i first got my car.. I thought it was becuase i was hitting the corner of the reverse gate.. But the up top post could be right..
