Sorry if this has been discussed often, I did a couple of searches but didn't quite find what i was looking for. My girl friend has a 2000 GTS (automatic) that does the 1-2 shift at 7400 RPM with the foot on the floor... problem is I would SWEAR that it used to shift over 8000 RPM... Dealership claims the 7400 RPM shift point is normal and didn't believe me that it used to shift over 8000... Anybody with a GTS, please tell me at what RPM your 1-2 shift happens at full throttle. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I have Autotap, so I'm going to create a log file of RPM only which should sample at >10 samples a second and see EXACTLY where it is shifting once and for all...

Nope the shift point is at 7400 rpm. The only way to get it to shift at 8000 is to put in in "M" mode.

Hmmm, perhaps I was mistaken... anybody else care to comment?

Same as 808, Foot to floor = ~7200-7400
M mode = 7950 (can't even get 8000) revlimiter just bounces repeatedly :D
