Differences between Beams 1zz-fe and usdm 1zz-fe

Here it says that the beams 1zz puts out 145 compared to the 140 of my motor (stock) I was wondering if anybody knew what the differences were.

isn't that because beams is JDM/overseas and they have not as strict emissions?
