THE BEST carbon fiber hood???

who makes the best carbon fiber hoods out there?
one thing i am looking for is the color too.
ive seen a few cf hood's on black cars and in different light it looks brown.
i want to have it as black as possible and i am going to be doing this soon:)

I heard Fiber Images is better quality than Sunny Styling. Kaminari makes the best quality CF hoods, but unfortunately, not for our cars.

REDLINE your right kaminari does make real good quality C/F hood to bad they dont make hoods for our cars.

I would still invest in hood pins... although they don't look amazing I would rather pay the 20 dollars for the safety feature ;)

Yeah Im going to be getting one from them as soon as I have the $$$ in hand... You have an option of getting the raise scoop for an additional $100... So thats pretty cool...

how doees the FI fit/look is it consitant/ dark grey not faded? Does the FI require hood pins? How much/ how to order them?

sunny stylings is very good too...ask 4B, his hood gets mistaken for an FI hood.

VIS is not good.....Fiber Images is the best right up there with C-One but C-One is nearly impossible to get (Japanese company). I got Sunny Styling through an import shop here in town. Pretty good fit, but you have to play with the bolts in the back...not as quick as the FI but I only payed $450 for it shipped....and it looks great, and I think weighs even less than the FI (FI looks better for a reason, rolled sides, extra stiffening on the bottom)...and I didn't want hood pins either, but when your on the Garden State Parkway in Jersey tryin' to get to Seaside for MTV's big summer break thing, and your girlfriend notices that the hood, at 90 to 100 mph, looks more wavy than your dollar at the local strip club, you buy hood pins so you don't DIE over the stupid thing...take the advice....it'd be stupid to waste your life over a HOOD...didn't someone else here almost die, had to replace the windshield and fenders and stuff?.....go with sunny styling...cheap, looks great, is black (no colors) and weighs less (which is the most important of the three)

TC spoiler makes nice carbon fiber hoods. They're really thick so you don't need hoodpins, nice underskelaton but they are heavier than a lot of other cf hoods.

I've heard FI suppose to have one of the best quality hood made. I believe they run some around $600. Where can you get one?
