hi,

I'm considering the shortrunner version of the DD intak mani for my Rotrex project. So now I have some questions.
1. Are the shortrunner versions available for Celicas? Can't find them on their homepage.
2. is the shortrunner version bigger or nearer to the fans than stock?(I will route the IC-Piping upwards coming from the Rotrex and infront of the intake mani an A2W IC will take place in tube style)
3. As far I will keep the stock rev-limit, does it still make sence power related for the shortrunner version in combination with a SC?
4. Would alternatively a P&P job on the stock intake mani make sence in combination with a P&P head and a PPE exhaust system?

thanks

I did, before I opened this thread, still waiting for his reply and thought in the mean time also to ask in here.

got an answer from DD Performance Research according my question.

For S/C the Short runner should be great. The design is done, but not released yet as we are still finishing the TBs to go with them. It does require that you cut some of the metal bracing on the underside of the hood to clear the plenum and that you run solid mounts.

hmm, , it requires to cut of the metal bracing on the underside of the hood :o: ...

Had to do it to clear the stock alternator. It was either that, or cut a hole through the hood entirely.

Could be worse. I've seen SRT-4 owners cut holes in thier hood's bracing for much less... CAI.
